A contract has been awarded to National Fisheries Research and Development Institute, Pusan, Korea, to collate and summarize Korean national biodiversity data and information for use in the development of the TDA.

A contract has been awarded to the NGO, Wetlands International, based in Beijing, China, to prepare a regional synthesis of data and information for biodiversity of the Yellow Sea and prepare a regional strategy for the development and management of habitat and species diversity through development of protected areas for the conservation and restoration of vulnerable species.
