Data and Information Collection
The first major activity under the Project was launched with the start of the “Data and Information Collection Activity.” UNOPS and the Project contracted institutes in Republic of Korea to collect national data and information.

All contractors from China and Republic of Korea presented their activity’s progress at the Second Regional Working Group (RWG) Meetings. The data and information are still being collected, and the final products will be presented according to the formats as agreed by the RWG Meetings. The data and information will be synthesized, and used to produce a regional picture of Yellow Sea’s historical status and trends in fisheries, biodiversity, pollution, and overall state of the ecosystem.
