***UNDP/GEF Yellow Sea Project - Call for Proposals – Consultant for Governance Analysis***
กก
The “UNDP/GEF Yellow Sea Project” began implementation last year, with a Project Management Office (PMO) established at KORDI, in Ansan, Korea. The PMO is seeking interested experts to assist with project implementation.
One activity is to analyse governance issues, the whole political environment that affect the environmental problems (including; institutions, laws, policies and projected investments), of the Yellow Sea. The results of the Governance Analysis will contribute to one of the project’s main outputs – the Transboundary Diagnostic Analysis which is a scientific and technical fact-finding analysis of transboundary environmental problems in the Yellow Sea.
The Project’s Regional Working Group for Investment Component (RWG-I) agreed at its second meeting (Jeju, R. Korea, 14-17 November 2005) that the Governance Analysis should be implemented in an integrated manner for each Yellow Sea bordering country (i.e. one analysis for China and another for R. Korea). This agreement of the RWG-I was approved by the Second Project Steering Committee Meeting (Kunming, China, 19-20 December 2005).
Please find a “Statement of Work” (SOW) describing the activity and the tasks to be undertaken. Due to your expertise in investigating the Yellow Sea governance issues, the PMO invites you to submit a bid for this activity. If you are interested in taking on this activity, please submit a proposal to the PMO, describing:
Please note that the work should be undertaken from February to June 2006. The deadline for proposal submission is 17th February 2006, 1700 hours Korea time. Late submissions will not be accepted.
You may submit your proposal to Isao Endo, PMO, via e-mail at isao@yslme.org or via fax at +82-31-400-7826
